Dr. Heidi Britt-Sherrock
Dr. Sherrock grew up (and continues) building fence, pulling weeds and baling hay in the Williamsville area. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine a long time ago. After several years in shelter and emergency/referral medicine, Heidi has relished the last few years of general practice and becoming a part of the family of many of her patients and their guardians. She is thankful and blessed to steward Hope Veterinary Care with her dedicated staff of squirrel chasers and the opportunity to help those in the community. Heidi has two grown sons, Clay and Kenyon, who’s empty nesting spurred her to pursue Hope. She has four cats, Thomas, Emily, Orange and Black, who consider her their personal pillow and heat source, Duke the Shar Pei, Petunia the Pitbull and Gillie the Goat.
Dr. Sherrock is Fear-Free Certified.
Sam started her animal career at a local shelter and spay/neuter clinic. Specializing in sick and injured, her love of helping animals pushed her into becoming an assistant and leader. She started working with Dr. Sherrock and feels as if she found another family. Sam excitedly joined Hope Veterinary Care and the amazing team they make! Along with her general technical duties and superb squirrel chasing abilities, Sam plays a key role in managing the practice (and Dr. Sherrock couldn’t get through a day with out her). Sam loves exploring with her boyfriend, Clay, whether that be hiking, or a good video game! They have two furry sons of the feline variety, Jim and Maynard, and a chocolate lab/pit mix called Carl.

Kayla started her veterinary career at a local hospital as a veterinary assistant extern two years ago. Having grown up in a small town, she found her love for animals on the family farm and through volunteering at local shelters. She is excited to grow in her role as a veterinary assistant, pursue certification as a veterinary technician and remain with her work family as they bring Hope Veterinary Care to life. Kayla and her husband Josh, will be found spending time outdoors unless the Blackhawks or the St Louis Cardinals are playing. And even though Kayla prefers the Cards, she understands why Dr Sherrock is a HUGE Chicago Cubs fan and she is prepared to listen to the Cubs games and watch the W fly. They have two fur babies: Cooper, a lovable, yellow lab and Coala, a crazy, hound/lab mix.

PJ has always had a special love for animals and began her veterinary career as soon as she graduated high school. She stared off as a kennel assistant and was able to work her way up to a veterinarian assistant. PJ has always believed that if you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life. After 2 amazing years she decided to put her dream on hold as she became a mother and wife. PJ feels extremely grateful to be apart of the Hope family, and is very happy to have a home away from home. She is now back on track to pursuing her dream to become a certified veterinary technician. PJ has an amazing support team at home, her husband, Cody, and 2 beautiful daughters, Chloe and Addison. Her furry family consists of an English Bulldog, Jade, and 2 Australian Shepard brothers Cooper and Remmy.
